Huggy joins the clan

It's been quite a while since the last blog so quite a few things to update. First of all we have another new member of the family. Sadly Starsky passed away a few weeks ago and Hutch and the boys looked really depressed and sad so we took advice and decided to introduce a little girl bunny called Huggy. Hutch of course being a little boy bunny was delighted but fell somewhat short of gentlemanly conduct for the first few days. That said Huggy is now well and truly in control of the situation and has already started reorganising the hutch. We've also been in a constant state of disruption with building work in the kitchen/dining room and downstairs loo commencing just after Christmas. We hope to reclaim at least one of the rooms soon...we hope. Sally and Joe managed another night out without the little man. This time we went to see "The Producers" in the West End. Joe's Christmas present from Sally but I suspect Sally enjoyed this one a lot too. Little Callum however had to make to with being spoiled rotten by his grandma for the evening. In other news Joe spent a week in Phoenix, Arizona presenting on the topic of "Collaboration and Social Networking" at a conference. We also visited our friends Richard, Olivia and Gareth now pretty much resident in Reading. By a strange coincidence Joe has also managed to trace his great grandfather to a census entry in Reading in 1901, the year Peter Taylor Logan was a striker for Reading FC and scored 6 goals in his only season there.

Best Birthday Ever...no really

Well I met another milestone these last few weeks. I hit the ripe old age of 42. A fabulous birthday. Not only for the friends who saw me and celebrated with me but also the first birthday as a family with the little guy. For Joe's birthday, Sally took him into London for a showing of the Blue Man Group and to his favourite restaurant Langan's Brasserie. Callum is coming on brilliantly. Now just coming up for 7 months. He just loves his swimming classes up at Foxhills (so both grandads would be proud a member of the golf club and a keen swimmer too) and seems to be becoming happier by the day. He's now registered for "Tootsies" Nursery just a few streets away from his mummy's hospice in Farnham. Joe also started a personal blog (mostly to learn how to coach other people to write). You can read and if you are really keen subscribe to it at http://joelittle.typepad.com/dinosaur_thing/
Whilst we are on the subject Joe also subscribes to www.Flickr.com an ever growing community of people who share good photography. To see his type http://www.flickr.com/photos/wot_gorilla/
