Little Man Gets Christened

Another bad month for blogging. Since the last blog Joe has been out to the States for another trip. This time to Maryland and back to MIT in Boston. His work on games is coming pretty much to a peak so hopefully he'll be home more often as Callum just gets bigger and smarter all the time. Callum is now properly crawling and has his first 2 teeth coming through. He also loves playing peek a boo although he hasn't quite tired of it yet. He's also started nursery as Sally is now back at the hospice part time. So right now we have pretty much no time to ourselves. But we're having fun. This last bank holiday we travelled to Scotland for Callum's christening. We chose my family church as a lot of my family lost out on our wedding and we wanted to make it up to them. We had a fabulous day with almost the entire clan present along with Sally's mum and brother Nigel and his family and my friends Richard, Olivia and little Gareth from the States and Carole, Kenny, Fergus and Eliza through from Edingburgh. Callum however fell asleep during his baptism which was quite sweet. Throughout the next hymm I just sat with him in my chest with the water soaking me. For a brief moment I thought that my own dad would probably have done the same thing in the same place 42 years ago. A nice moment.
